There For You was written about somebody who allows their fears and the past to overwhelm their life in the present.

I wanted to write a song which had acoustic guitar in it, but still had a heavier riff-driven hook to it with a killer guitar solo, and a 5/4 time signature in it too!

This song celebrates friendship, commitment and also celebrates the 30th anniversary of me playing guitar!
